Background
Automate allows you to provide complete insurance protection with the minimum amount of inconvenience for you and your customer, giving complete and flexible cover at a competitive cost.
Whilst
it is accepted that a standard motor trade insurance policy could
incorporate this type of cover, those policies are essentially set up
to cover only a few vehicles and not a fleet of the size we see
today. Equally, some policies may carry a large excess therefore leaving
you financially exposed, coupled with the motor trade experience being
prejudiced as a result of claims.
Working with Automate Solutions Ltd
gives you the advantage of partnering a company that understands the
obstacles courtesy car / test drive providers and customers often face
when dealing with each other. Unforeseen charges for customers, administrative
errors holding up the process and even providers being liable for the
users parking or congestion charge fines are just a few of the problems
that can make the customer experience difficult and frustrating for
both parties.
The concept of the Automate Courtesy Car / Test Drive
Scheme is to further promote customer care. It is accepted that the
provision of any vehicle is at the discretion of you, the supplier.
The aim is to provide a vehicle without inconvenience to the customer
although there are certain guidelines which must be adopted in respect
of the supply of the vehicle (see customer qualification).
Although you will have the ‘customers’ vehicle
in your possession, the theory of it being some form of ‘deposit’ is
not always true. There is a strong possibility the vehicle will be ‘owned’ by
someone other than your customer, therefore, due diligence is always
required.
The insurance cover under this scheme will include
any type of car or commercial vehicle up to 3.5t GVW, which is the
property of you (the Policyholder) or hired or loaned to you, and being
supplied for courtesy car / test drive purposes. This is subject to
the vehicle value bandings shown within the current price list and
the policy cover shown within the summary of policy features & details
of cover.
